Matted dogs require extra time, is hard on equipment, and hard on the animal and will have additional charges based on the severity and how long it takes. Normally $5-20 extra.

  • Severely Aggressive dogs also take extra time and may have an extra $5.00 charge based on the time it takes.

  • Teeth Cleaning and this is why...........
Unless you have been brushing your dogs teeth every week since they were  puppies, they have already built up tartar on their teeth. No amount of brushing  is going to remove it. The teeth need to be scaled and this is better off done under anesthesia as it is very uncomfortable and painful to your pet. After scaling the teeth need polished to prevent the rough edges from collecting  tartar again quickly. Once a veterinarian has cleaned your dogs teeth you can follow-up with weekly teeth brushing. However, unless you started your puppy off  at a young age they don't tolerate you shoving a brush in their mouth. I would  be happy to help you train your dog to do this if you would like to dedicate your time. Monthly tooth brushing is not very effective and needs to be done
more often. Most groomers try to lure you into their shops offering the most for your money by offering tooth brushing. I am going to be up front and honest with you, most of the time it is a marketing scam.

  • Flea, Tick, or Lice Dips are usually an extra $5.00 as the
    animal is bathed twice
